Pornhub Releases 2020 Election Day Insights

This Election Day was filled with stressful twists and turns—so of course people took the time to watch porn. As the votes were trickling in, Pornhub released their 2020 Election Day Insights. Pornhub compared overall traffic levels on Election Day to an average day on the site and found traffic took a significant dip (11 percent) during prime time.

It seems by about 1 a.m. people gave up on deciding who won and decided to masturbate instead. Traffic in Democrat-run states spiked higher in the morning on Election Day, up 18 percent around 6 a.m., while Republican-run states spiked in the wee hours of the following day, up 16 percent at 3 a.m. Wednesday.
