A man staying at a Sacramento DoubleTree was not pleased to learn the hotel was hosting a 1,000 person orgy without alerting its guests. The father of four had planned to ring in the New Year with a stay at the hotel—until he discovered that a local swingers club would be hosting what it billed as a massive “sex-abration” for the holiday. “People that are spending good money to stay at the Hilton should be aware of what’s going on under their nose, especially if they have families,” the dad said.

“And, you know, there’s a hot tub there, and there’s crazies in the hot tub,” he added. The swingers club advertised a “multi-bed play area,” sex swings and other X-rated activities. A DoubleTree spokesperson responded in a statement by saying, “As with any large event the utmost care is taken to assure there is no disruption to other guests, including additional security. With that being said we understand if a guest feels they would like to cancel their reservation and will, of course, accommodate them to the best of our ability.”
