Japan Opens First Bar Devoted to Getting Women Off

In a very buzz-worthy move, Japan has opened its first bar devoted to vibrators, dildos, and other female sex toys. Love Joule, a funky, colorful bar in Tokyo is the first “love and sex bar dedicated to women,” according to the Tokyo Reporter. The owner of the bar wanted to make female masturbation a less taboo, more open discussion in her famously regressive country. “Since most people view female masturbation as something of a mystery or taboo, it is not a usual topic at typical bars,” she said.

This place is sure to get people talking! Behind the bar where liquor bottles would normally be, there are rows and rows of colorful sex toys. So far, the spot has been very popular with Japan’s commercial sex and adult film stars. Driving instructors in Holland can legally slip into the backseat for payment for lessons. Cabinet ministers have been discussing the issue and determined that there’s nothing wrong with exchanging “a ride for a ride.” After long debate, Dutch News reported the parliament reached this conclusion on the controversial practice: offering driving lessons for sex did not equal prostitution “since sex was not being sold.”

However, they also determined that a student asking to exchange sex for lessons was not allowed. Although prostitution is legal in the Netherlands, since there’s no way to tax students, i.e, non-sex workers, “a ride for a ride” would not be legal. So as long as the instructor makes the deal, two consenting adults have the thumbs up from their government to go on a joy ride.
