If you had to guess the most unlikely person to jump on the anti-porn bandwagon, Pamela Anderson would probably come to mind. Everyone knows the blonde bombshell has profited off her “leaked” sex tape, not to mention has made a career over sexualizing herself. So it comes as a bit of a shock to hear her publicly condemn pornography in a recent Wall Street Journal op-ed, co-authored with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach.

In the op-ed, they claim the Anthony Weiner (Weinergate) scandal is the result of the “public hazard” known as porn addiction. Aside from the fact that porn has literally nothing to do with Weiner’s seemingly compulsive need to send dick pictures to women on the internet, this type of old-world moralizing basically just puppets the same tired rhetoric that conservative, religious politicians use. And this coming from a woman who capitalized on her sex symbol status for years, starting off as a Playboy bunny, and starring in soft core porn flicks like Barb Wire. If Pamela Anderson really believes “porn is for losers,” she might want to rethink her entire career that has been built almost entirely on getting people off.

Introducing The First Feminist Porn Magazine

From the outside, you might think Math Magazine is a sexy looking academic journal. But on the inside, you’ll find an erotic porn magazine hiding in plain sight. It’s the creation of editor-in-chief MacKenzie Peck, who wanted to make a progressive porn publication that was ethical, inclusive, and sexy as hell. “Readers can still have the discovery, the surprise, even that sense of taboo,” Peck said. “But with the knowledge that everything was produced in collaboration with models and using the most ethical practices.”

Another goal of the magazine was to represent a diversity of body types and sex acts, while keeping things nasty: “One of my main focuses is maintaining a high level of quality while continuing to push boundaries in terms of kink and sexuality and unrepresented groups,” said Peck. The second issue of Math embodies these goals perfectly, with a photograph of an elderly couple making out, a fuck fest between three men, and a BDSM sequence involving ropes, harnesses and spankings. Church Funded Study Finds 76% Of Young Christians Watch Porn

A new study funded by well-known evangelist Josh McDowell had Christians saying “OMG!” He commissioned the study to expose the “pervasiveness of pornography in the church and among Christians,” but the results went far beyond anything he could have imagined. According to McDowell “pornography has infiltrated the church, especially among young adults.” Apparently, McDowell is a bit slow to learn what basically everyone alive already knows—that young people love to masturbate!

“Of young adults 18-24 years old, 76 percent actively—and these are Christians—actively seek out porn,” McDowell lamented to a local news station. As a result of the study, McDowell is now putting together a conference for Christian leaders to discuss the problem of internet pornography. Maybe they should just look at the statistics—“Of 13- to 24-year-olds, 96 percent would say that when they talk to someone about porn—their friends, which most of them are Christians now—they do it in either a neutral, positive or encouraging way”—and face the facts: nothing’s going to “Save” people from jerking off!

McDonald’s Pulls the Plug on Free Wi-Fi For Porn

McDonald’s is the latest chain to ensure customers aren’t enjoying a little something extra with their happy meals. If you want to watch “MILF Gives Best Blow Job EVER” while inside the golden arches, you’ll have to use your data plan. Yes, McDonald’s is now joining the movement to put porn filters on its free Wi-Fi.

McDonald’s, which has already started using these filters in the U.K., joins other popular chains like Panera Bread, Subway, and Chick-Fil-A in creating a porn-free environment. Although McDonald’s hasn’t had any complaints about customers watching porn, the chain wanted to jump on the “family-friendly” bandwagon being championed by organizations like Enough is Enough (EIE), which is dedicated to “making the internet safer for children and families.” Burger King hasn’t officially taken a side in the recent, hotly debated War Against Porn, but some customers maintain you can still get a side of XXX with your burger and fries: “This old fuck in Burger King is watching porn,” said one Twitter user. Denny’s proudly announced that it does not filter out adult content on its Wi-Fi, making their famous “Grand Slam” truly wonderful in more ways than one.

These Places Are Really Into Redhead Porn

Pornhub Offers Olympic Attendees Free Porn to Prevent Zika

The upcoming summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro has attendees freaking out about contracting Zika, among other concerns (robberies and unclean water, anyone?). Brazil especially suffered from the mosquito-spread disease, and many people are worried that with all the, um, mixing at the Olympics, there’s a chance the virus could spread and cause a worldwide epidemic. But, as always, Pornhub has a solution: the “Ooohlympics.”

“According to a press release, the porn site’s plan is to provide free access to its high-definition service, Pornhub Premium, for all residents of Rio de Janiero, Olympic athletes, and attendees,” reports the Daily Dot. Apparently, the porn mega-site will also be handing out “Zika protection kits consisting of bug spray, tissues, and lube as well as actual Pornhub Premium gift cards,” the press release said. And if that wasn’t enough, the athletes will be supplied with condoms—45,000 of them, or 42 per athlete! Zika or no, let the games begin!

Researchers Find Association Between Watching Porn and Less Gray Matter in the Brain

“This is porn. This is your brain on porn. Any questions?” That’s what researchers from the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin asked in a new study which found that hours spent watching pornography was associated with less gray matter in the brain. For the investigation, scientists recruited 64 healthy males between the ages of 21-45, who mainly said that they did not watch more than four hours of x-rated material per week. Then the researchers scanned the men’s brains using MRI imaging while they watched porn—and the results were pretty shocking.

The study found that the men watching porn not only had a decrease of gray matter volume in their brains, but also had less functioning in the area of the brain used to process motivation. Still, the researchers cannot prove that porn is the direct cause, and they’ve said that they’ll need to conduct further studies before they are able to reach any sort of conclusion. One possible reason could be that excessive stimulation of the reward system altered the brain’s “neural plasticity.” Or perhaps, men with less gray matter in their brains require more stimulation, and find watching porn extremely rewarding. Whatever the reason, researchers will be looking into “your brain on porn” more rigorously in the future.
