‘Transgender’ Sex Robots Are Coming To A Bedroom Near You

Realbotix wants to spice things up in your bedroom with an exciting new product—transgender sex robots. The company responsible for the female Harmony sex droid, a sexbot powered by artificial intelligence software, is now considering a trans version too. The lifelike sex dolls have their own personalities and can even have a conversation with you.

A male version is currently in development, but Realbotix said a transgender model could be the company’s next big project. “We do believe there is a market not only for transgender, but for any other sexual preferences of gender,” said Realbotix. The company already offers the option of transgender sex dolls without robotic function, but they say it wouldn’t be too difficult to re-design for a mixed-sex version. In the meantime, the new male Harmony sex robot will have “bionic penises” that would be “better than a vibrator.”

A photographer decided to explore the fetish, BDSM, and kink communities in his latest photography project. He found his models on FetLife, a “social network for the BDSM and fetish community,” that describes itself as “similar to Facebook and MySpace but run by kinksters like you and me.” His ongoing series, “The Fetlife” takes viewers into the homes of kinksters, submissives, cosplay enthusiasts, and other “sexual deviants” all over New York City.

Some of his photographs include role-play, dominatrixes, foot fetishists, rope-play, age-play, bondage, and cross-dressing. The photographer’s intent is to familiarize, not exoticize, his unique subjects. His experience with Fetlife has also taught him about gender and sexual identity: “It’s been really interesting meeting people who fully accept who they are and aren’t afraid to express themselves honestly.”

You might be surprised how common certain fantasies and fetishes are. A new survey of 400 people from a mobile dating app discovered that a lot of us have the same desires. The survey asked 241 women and 159 men about their sexual fantasies and found that the most common fantasy is having sex with multiple people at the same time, which 17.6% reported thinking about during masturbation.

Other popular sexual fantasies include role play, BDSM, and having an affair. Surprisingly, only 3% of respondents said they get turned on by the idea of public sex. “The big take-away from this data is that we are all more alike than we may think,” a researcher told Refinery29. “There’s safety in numbers, and if our survey can help people feel more comfortable in the knowledge that others share their thoughts on threesomes and role play, for example, perhaps it can lead to more fulfilling sex lives for all.”

A survey suggests that 42% of meat eaters have sex once a week or more, while only 16% of vegetarians get it on that much. Before you go running to your local butcher, it’s worth noting that the survey of 2,000 Britons was conducted by a meat company in the UK.

“Broken down by country, the Welsh were the top of the carnal carnivore charts, with 49 per cent who ate meat every day reporting that they had sex one or more times every week,” reports Daily Mail. They were followed by English meat eaters at 46% and the Scots at 40%. Obviously, vegetarians had their doubts and were not tempted to start eating meat in order to enhance their sex lives. As one vegetarian said, “I’ll take my chances and stick to tofu.”
