The Precise Amount Of Time It Takes A Woman To Orgasm, According To Science

A study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine used a stopwatch to measure the time it took women to climax—and found the magic number is 13:46 minutes. For eight weeks, a group of 645 women from 20 countries set their sexy-time stopwatches each time they got it on. Researchers found that only 31.4 percent of participants climaxed through penetrative sex, while 68.6 percent of the ladies needed some other form of action, including kissing, “light biting” or touching other body parts.

Some positions were more effective than others, with woman on top as the most popular for cumming— 42.2 percent of ladies said this was the most optimal for them. Relationship status didn’t matter either, since it took about the same time for both married and unmarried women to finish. Another interesting finding: women who wear socks during fucking can increase their pleasure.

Indiana University’s ‘SexFest’ Features BDSM Safety And Sex Toys

Indiana University is bringing sex positivity to campus with its fifth annual SexFest, an event organized by student-run Sexual Health Advocacy Group. The school is hosting several events and demonstrations throughout the week, including a BDSM Safety Panel that will feature “personal stories from individuals who practice BDSM.” The BDSM panel even includes BDSM practitioners explaining and demonstrating proper technique for flogging.

Other events include “Kick-off to Kink,” which focuses on a “discussion about desire and communication” and includes an appearance from a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Another event features a “Kink Workshop” where people are able to “browse educational booths demonstrating the use of different sex toys.” Indiana University says, “Our public health researchers have found some evidence to suggest that people are engaging in a broader range of sexual activities and as a result, it is the IU Health Center’s mission to make sure they practice it safely, following the BDSM community’s principal tenets of ‘safe, sane, and consensual.’”

The study, which was published in the Journal of Health Economics, found that the amount of sex people have increases in states with medical cannabis. The tweet blew up immediately, and just a few days later, she estimated that more than $1 million in donations had been generated. “We had some people who donated a lot of money,” she said. “One person $5,000 and at least 10 people $1,000. Those we made sure we had their name and a second verification of the payment,” she said. She estimated that she and a small team she hired to respond to the requests have now sent 10,000 nude photos—although the demand has been so overwhelming that they’ve had to stop.

Two female members of the Resistance shared a kiss in one celebration scene in the film — a first for the franchise’s 40-year history on the silver screen.

“In the case of the LGBTQ community, it was important to me that people who go to see this movie feel that they’re being represented in the film,” Abrams said. Many fans speculated that the same-sex sequence would be shared by Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) and Finn (John Boyega), but Abrams quickly shot that idea down during an interview with Variety. LGBTQ folks are very pleased to see a same-sex relationship in a galaxy far, far away.
