Born in 1962, Autumn Rose Taylor was reared in a matriarchal family
amongst the gently rolling green hills of mid-Michigan. As a
youngster, she was presented at a young age with her first of several
ponies and horses, which she showed competitively. By sixteen, she was
training Arabian stallions professionally.
Upon graduation from high school, she followed her grandmother and
mother in matriculating at the same University that all the women in
the family have attended. Shortly after graduation, she moved to the
South, where she began breeding and training Doberman pinschers. It
was during this period that her interests in training and gentlemen
emerged. While her family had always been controlled by her
Grandmother, the family Matriarch, there had been no suggestion of
discipline as an effective tool for enforcing one’s will. Happenstance
alone brought about the flowering of her interests.
Miss Taylor’s continued historical and geneaological research
unearthed a variety of odd family conundrums. While puzzling these
out, it soon developed that Miss Taylor was simply following in the
footsteps of her ancestresses. Since these early discoveries, Miss
Taylor has continued to research and explore her family heritage,
which have lead variously to both Highland and Lowland Scots clans,
many of whom shared similar interests in disciplinary activities.
In 1995, she was the Founding Member of the Ladies’ Tea & Rhetoric
Society, a New York City-based organisation. Currently, her specific
interests include administering various forms of corporal discipline,
historical fashion research, particularly of the Victorian and
Edwardian eras, tea, etiquette and corsetry. She was appointed as
Executive Director of the Alice Kerr-Sutherland Society International
in August 1997. She is a correspondent and columnist with
Miss Taylor, Executive Director of the Alice-Kerr-Sutherland Society
and Vice Director of the legendary Ladies' Tea & Rhetoric Society, is
pleased to insight into the disciplinary techniques developed over her
years of training the Tea Servants of the Tea Society. Designed to
keep the average male wholesome and service-oriented, her techniques
have been copied around the United States by various organizations
seeking to provide exceptional male servants to their guests and
members. Miss Taylor continues in her role as the original Trainer of
the New York City-based Ladies' Tea &
Rhetoric Society, and continues to train gentlemen who seek
positions as servants to Ladies of high caliber.
