Discussing tantric sex, the magazine shares this tip from a sexpert: “One of the simplest relational practices is to spend a designated amount of time connecting with each other.” Independent feminist porn producer Erika Lust answers questions about couples watching porn together, saying “Watching can increase confidence in the bedroom for men and women, as well as electrify the atmosphere and introduce ideas for different role plays or sexual practices. Netflix Is Killing Couples’ Sex Lives, Study Finds

While the expression “Netflix and Chill” used to be code for casual sex, it might have taken on a more literal meaning. New research suggests that couples are getting into bed to watch shows on their iPads, instead of getting it on. “A study by researchers at Lancaster University in the UK reveals that the busiest hour for internet use is now between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m., driven by those watching streaming services such as Netflix, iPlayer and YouTube,” reports NY Post.

Evidence from nearly 400 devices shows that viewers are prolonging the “traditional” hours of TV watching, to the detriment of their sex lives. A University of Cambridge professor warns that the research supports his theory that couples are less interested in sex because they watch more TV in bed. In 2016, he blamed figures showing falling rates of sex on the “mass of connectivity” we have now “compared with just a few years ago when the TV used to close down at half past 10.” Netflix and Chill—more like Netflix and Kill (Sex).

House Method asked more than a thousand people to reveal their favorite places to fuck at home other than the bedroom. The findings prove that spontaneity and experimentation is key to keeping the excitement alive in a relationship.

The most popular spot to have sex is the living room or family room, with 96.6 per cent, followed by the bathroom (82.8 per cent), the guest room (64.9 per cent), the kitchen (57.5 per cent), and the den (56.6 per cent). The study also found that couples who have sex outside of the bedroom fuck more frequently, at 10.9 times per week — compared to 5.8 times per week for couples who only get it on in their beds. As for sex positions, 69 was most popular in the guest bedroom, living room, and den, while standing is most popular in the bathroom, kitchen, and laundry room, and doggy style is most popular in the living room, bathroom, and kitchen.

Vice Industry Token Inc. offers consumers, content creators, and distributors cryptocurrency that can be spent on content and services from the company and its partners to engage with their adult entertainment platform. Gizmodo explains, “Like many popular cryptocurrencies, VIT is built on an open-source blockchain, which is where tokens are generated and distributed. It is also where each user’s engagement on the platform—watching videos or commenting, for example—is recorded.” According to the company, documenting users’ data lets porn platforms “more accurately identify viewers preferences, allowing them to refine and create better content for viewers.” Since users readily hand over their data on social media sites and apps, this isn’t a unique model. Here’s another reason to have more sex: it boosts memory, according to new research. Researchers analyzed two years of data on more than 6,000 adults aged 50 and over, and overwhelmingly found that those who have more sex were better at recalling recent events. “The researchers said this study, and previous studies in mice, suggest sex boosts memory by stimulating the growth of neurons in the hippocampus, a part of the brain that is activated when episodic and spatial memory tasks are performed,” reports Daily Mail.

The research establishing that sex enhances memory was first performed on mice, but this study is the first time it’s been confirmed with humans. Participants completed a memory test and a questionnaire where they reported how often they had sex, kissed, or sexually touched a partner. As with mice, humans who fucked on a regular basis fared much better when it came to recalling episodic memories.

Four in 10 Americans say they would have sex with a robot, according to new research. Sex toy shop EdenFantasys.com asked 2,000 Americans if they’d get it on with a sexbot, and one in four said they’d try it at least once. An excited 16 percent are already fully on board with a “sex machine,” saying they would have sex with a robot “frequently” were they readily available.

The study revealed that men were 21 percent more likely than women to have sex with a robot, and 41 percent said they would pay handsomely for a chance with their idea of a “perfect sexbot.” People described the ideal sex robot as one that’s capable of talking, creating memories and having sentience. “There’s a huge distance between a sex toy and a sexbot, but the idea of a fully functional sex robot is certainly enticing for many Americans,” said EdenFantasys.
