A businessman in the UK is letting customers take his sex dolls for a “test drive.” While he sells realistic sex dolls on the internet, he allows customers to pay £50 to have sex with one for half an hour. His “try before you buy” scheme seems to be working so far, with clients using a private room containing a bed where the doll, wearing a negligee, awaits.
“Once you realise you’re performing an act with somebody or something that has no judgement of you whatsoever, that is quite a freedom and that’s a developing freedom that a lot of our customers experience,” he says of having sex with the dolls. He assures customers that his used dolls are “clean as can be,” with each one going though a one-hour to five-hour cleaning process. While he doesn’t run a sex doll brothel—in fact, there aren’t any known ones in the UK—he hasn’t ruled out the idea.
