Phone Sex

Hi everyone, I’m William! I’m 27 and am presently living in Austin, Texas. I'm going to try to get ahead of the jokes here by stating that yes, a lot of things are in fact bigger in Texas!

I feel like my life could be a tad bit cliche. If you saw my tale in a movie, you might think, “Oh, this again…” I’m a small town guy who moved to the big city and found a home in a very unique community.

When I first moved to Austin, I got a gig as a bouncer at a drag club. I’m not that big of a guy nor do I like confrontation, but I do know how to deescalate situations with words. In a weird way, talking is my special skill. I took the job, not because I was interested in drag, but because it was the only job I could land. As I stayed at the club more and more, I began to see some passion and artistry in it that I wouldn’t have ever guessed I’d see.

Originally, I’m from oil country in West Texas. Not only wasn’t there anything like drag there, but you couldn’t even talk about it. Frankly, there wasn’t anything artistic or entertaining of any kind and, somehow, there were even less options open for queer people. So I moved.

One Halloween some of my friends at the drag club convinced me to join the spooktacular show they were putting on and connected me with someone who helped me make a werewolf costume. It was different and weird and artsy and awesome and fantastic! Despite being a bouncer, I’m not especially ferocious either (basically think of every quality you’d assume a bouncer wouldn’t have… and that’s probably me) so there was a distinct appeal to the gothic, creature elements of the costume. They are quite majestic. And I love the glamor and glitz of it.

I recently moved on from that bouncer position into a more corporate job and miss the atmosphere a lot. I know signing up here to talk isn’t the same thing, but I felt like it would be another interesting excursion down a road less traveled for me. I love the thought of getting to know people and seeing where things can go on the phone calls. I’m pretty open-minded about a lot of activities (though please keep it all legal) and am curious to see how we hit it off and where we take our conversation! I can’t wait to speak with you all!
