Where to start? My name is Evelyn, I’m a Nashville girl and recently turned 32.

I’ve lived a somewhat interesting life to date because my focus has been on two wildly disparate things. I am a working actress who is expanding my focus into singing (hence the Nashville address) and I’m also completing a post-graduate thesis on the way the human skeletal structure interacts with muscles and the fashion in which soft tissue manipulation can impact that.

I grew up in Nashville, went to college here, majored in pre-med and then, pissing off my parents, moved to Los Angeles to focus on my acting instead of going to med school. I spent 7 years in Los Angeles and, while I enjoyed my time acting, began to learn that singing was my true passion. When I was offered the opportunity to return to Tennessee, I jumped at the chance. The rest is history.

What first drew me to acting was the ability to do live theater. Getting up on stage and performing is truly one of my favorite activities. When you can perform in a way so that the audience can feel the nature of your character, it’s breath taking to me. You’re on stage, performing and creating a new reality before everyone’s very eyes. And sometimes that reality is so convincing, when you meet people after the performance, your co-stars have to actually explain to them that you’re not the bitch you played. As an actress, nothing makes me feel better than that!

There’s definitely a cross over between acting on stage and the bedroom. A lot of the qualities that make you a good actress also make you a good lover. You have to be focused on the details—those little nuances are what separate an average experience from a wondrous one—and you have to help out your partner/co-stars at all times. Improv is a fantastic activity… just about anywhere!
