And we couldn&#8217;t be more impressed with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxygen.com\/the-prancing-elites-project\">Prancing Elites<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Our friends over at <a href=\"https:\/\/morningafter.gawker.com\/watch-a-black-gay-dance-team-prance-past-jeering-bigots-1699720947\">Gawker<\/a> shared a clip from Oxygen&#8217;s new reality show <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxygen.com\/the-prancing-elites-project\"><em>The Prancing Elites Project<\/em><\/a> where\u00a0 the dance team performs at a local parade despite the slew of hateful comments being yelled at them as they make their way down the route.<\/p>\n<p>The clip didn&#8217;t leave a dry eye in the office.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.petitionbuzz.com\/uploaded\/1309232d8fdf78f27011599819cf1585341513.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"640\" \/><\/p>\n<p>At the end of the clip, a young girl is very upset at how people treated the Elites.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxygen.com\/people\/kentrell-collins\">Kentrell<\/a>, the team&#8217;s captain, comforted her by summing up why they danced after being told they couldn&#8217;t, &#8220;We\u2019re not trying to change people, we\u2019re just letting people know that we\u2019re different, and it\u2019s OK to be who we are.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Amen, Kentrell.
