Sertraline is being touted as a potential cure for premature ejaculation in the UK. Male sexual wellness clinics and health businesses are offering so-called “off-label” prescriptions, claiming performance-enhancing abilities. One business that advertises sertraline to British men suffering from PE claimed the drug can help extend the time to climax during sex by 400%. 

Clinicians who prescribe men sertraline for PE usually recommend they begin with a daily dose for four to six weeks; later, they are advised to move to an “on-demand” setup, where they take the pill a few hours before intercourse. Medical professionals said while some medics recommend men with PE take a dose of sertraline every day, this carries risks. “Some clinicians give SSRI’s daily to treat premature ejaculation which is something I do not support as it makes them susceptible to all the side effects of prolonged SSRI use,” one doctor said.

Despite Twitter’s policies against misleading media and non-consensual nudity, digitally altered X-rated imagery of popular TikTok creators and celebrities has cropped up on the platform, according to an NBC report. Twitter searches for TikTok creators Addison Rae Easterling, Charli D’Amelio, and Bella Poarch revealed sexually explicit deepfakes, or manipulated videos or images where a person’s face is superimposed on someone else’s body. A deep fake of Easterling has been viewed more than 21 million times, and the thread featured further explicit content of the deepfake.

The anonymous user behind the account told the outlet that they later deleted the tweet after a blowback. The outlet claimed to have discovered at least nine accounts that circulate pornographic deepfakes, six of which were later suspended, and some featured explicit content using Poarch’s likeness. This year, actresses Emma Roberts and Scarlett Johansson were the stars of a sexually suggestive advert for deepfake software, which was later removed by Facebook.

The US is facing some stiff competition—literally. A team of researchers analyzed data from nearly 90 nations to uncover which country’s men have the largest average erect penis size. The study, published by World Data, determined that Ecuadorian males are the world’s most well-endowed at an impressive 6.93 inches.

“No other topic on this website has been asked for more often than the average size of male genitalia,” a World Data author stated, explaining that the sites’ team trawled through studies stretching back to 2001 to produce their comprehensive list. It seems the US just didn’t measure up, coming in 60th place with an average size of 5.35 inches. A new study suggests that men who perform just a few minutes of strenuous exercise are more likely to feel aroused than those who do not work out. German researchers determined that men who carried out a three-minute strength test were far more responsive to sexual stimuli after physically exerting themselves. Queens Councilwoman Tiffany Cabán is pushing a new bill that would all but legitimize—and subsidize—New York’s sex industry. The Democratic socialist, a longtime advocate of decriminalizing sex work, introduced legislation allowing past and present prostitutes and other sex workers to easily receive taxpayer-funded assistance through nonprofits and other organizations. “The city has a responsibility to protect the health, safety, and economic well-being of all New Yorkers regardless of what they do for a living, and let’s be clear: sex work is work,” said Cabán.

Cabán’s bill would force the Mayor’s Office of Equity to create a “sex-worker opportunity program” so that government grants could be funneled to community groups that work directly with sex workers to provide “economic support for mobility, health, housing, and social well-being.” The bill also prohibits housing discrimination based on a person’s current or former employment in sex work. It amends the city privacy laws to protect against disclosing a person’s status as a sex worker. Reps for Mayor Eric Adams said he’s reviewing the legislation, despite the conservative backlash.
