Kristen Stewart’s new role as a reclusive gym owner who begins a steamy lesbian romance with a bodybuilder has her hot and bothered. She set pulses racing in a barely-there outfit for her appearance on the Stephen Colbert Late Show to discuss the new crime-romance film, Love Lies Bleeding. Stewart previously teased that her sex scenes in the thriller will “shock people” as she criticized movie sex scenes as being almost mechanical.
“All you ever see is a dress coming up and a head going down under. I think even hetero sex on film is so rote… No one actually really wants to reveal themselves,” she said. She added that she found it “really sexy” to portray a more masculine character, rather than the traditionally feminine roles that propelled her into the spotlight. She explained: “There was something about having the things that I have found attractive be really glorified. It was really sexy, and I don’t mean from an outsider’s perspective: I felt turned on by it, and it was cool to have people witness that.”
