I believe conversation is an art. Not the kind where two people simply exchange words, but the kind where one thought leads somewhere unexpected, one question reveals another layer, and before you realize it, you’re talking about something you never intended to talk about. That’s the kind of conversation I cherish. You don’t need to call me with a topic prepared. You don’t need to entertain me, impress me, or figure out where the conversation should go. Just call. I can take it from there. I’m naturally comfortable leading a conversation. I listen closely to what you say, but I pay just as much attention to what sits underneath it. The hesitation before an answer. The subject you keep circling back to. The sudden excitement in your voice. The thought you almost say, then pull away from. Those little expressions tell me where another layer might be waiting. I enjoy discovering those layers through curiosity, confidence and conversation. I’ll ask what others might not think to ask. I’ll give you my perspective. I’ll challenge you when the moment calls for it. I’ll make you laugh with a flirty sense.
