If you love the sexy librarian look, that’s backed up with a brain, are a nerd looking for a Girlfriend Experience with a fellow nerd, who’ll know WTF you’re talking about, or you’re an older, well-educated man looking for intelligent conversation on a multitude of topics, I’m the phone date you’ve dreamed of!

I’ve been around for a few decades, (a couple years of which I worked here at NiteFlirt, under the handle “Aged to Perfection”), and at times I’ve been called a walking thesaurus, a walking dictionary, or a walking encyclopedia. People sometimes ask me before they ask Alexa.

People also say I’m a marvelous conversationalist, because I know at least a little bit about a lot of things, and if the topic is something I don’t know anything about, I’m great at asking the right questions.

All independently minded, rational callers are welcome. We can discuss cognitive biases, how to think better and be more rational, the scientific method, or how we’re all just battle bots created by genes struggling to win the evolution game.

• I love BOTH Star Trek (all iterations) and Star Wars (all iterations). (Did I mention that I’m bisexual? So, are you really surprised)? I also enjoy Battlestar Galactica (the old and the new)


• Huge Harry Potter nerd.


• Historical recreationist. I know how to spin w/ a drop spindle, weave, embroider, knit, crochet, quilt; I’m an archer and I’ve had a tiny bit of sw*rd and shield training. I took fencing at the YMCA for years when I was younger. I have some brewing experience, having been taught how to brew mead by a friend who was a Master Brewer


• Used to play a lot of Dungeons & Dragons and other RPGs.


• Word puzzles of all kinds, particularly crossword puzzles, acrostics/anacrostics, and cryptograms (I’m a big nerd for old-school codes and decryption); I also enjoy sudoku and kakuro number puzzles.


• I’m a string theory gal, rather than quantum gravity, but would welcome the opportunity to hear why the latter theory is more likely to be correct (or vice versa – validation is always a great way to pay tribute, too)!


• Would happily talk about whatever books you or I are reading right now. I’m in the middle of several books, including “Goedel Escher Bach” – I recently finished “The Robot’s Rebellion,” and “The Self Delusion” - both fascinating, and I recommend them. “GEB” is much drier and more challenging, but I’ve heard such good things about it I plan to stick with it, though I keep interrupting to read other things. I like to read with friends; I recently finished “Eating of the Gods” with one, and we just started Livy's “History of Rome;” “Dirk Gently’s Detective Agency,” with another; and the Anita Blake series, with my trans GF. I also am an ardent Audible fan, and I’m currently listening to "The Uses of Enchantment" by Bruno Bettelheim, and the Sookie Stackhouse series, by Charlaine Harris (having read them years ago).

• Just beginning to learn MTG


• Don’t know most anime, though I’ve seen “Ghost in the Shell,” and a few others.


• Have a basic understanding of computer science and programming, but I’m not a programmer, so I can’t really talk computers. Sorry! I’ve got plenty of other stuff I can nerd out about. (My trans girlfriend knows much more about this topic, so if there is something you’re just aching to talk about, let me know, and I’ll see if she can give me a crash course.
