Adventurous Allison

Nature Loving Woman Wants to Connect with You!

Hi! I’m Allison! I’m 25 and am super excited about the new adventure I’m embarking on.

For the last seven years, I worked in a bank. It’s… a job. That’s about all I could say about it. I am appreciative of the fact that it paid my rent, but also became acutely aware that it was becoming a drain on my soul. So after saying I should quit and do something else for more than a year, I finally decided to quit and do something else!

It was a scary decision to make, not just because I’d have to find a new source of income, but I wasn’t 100% sure what I was interested in doing instead. Taking an action like this not only required me knowing that I didn’t like what I was doing but also (and more challenging still) figuring out what else I wanted to do.

When the pandemic struck, I began reading up on sustainability and communing with nature. I’ve always felt my best when I get to wake up and experience nature. There is a true beauty to our world and I had also enjoyed being surrounded by naturally created landscapes and vistas. I began following a 500 acre farm in New Hampshire that had a presence on Instagram. The farm in question had post after post detailing what they were doing with their land as well as highlighting the ways they could make the world more beautiful and healthy. I was in love. I finally bit the bullet in June, quit my job at the bank and moved out to New Hampshire to work with the farm on making agriculture more sustainable.

Despite my involvement in environmentally friendly things, I’m not a particularly granola girl. I adore being feminine and playing around with makeup and my hair color (which you can see in my photos). I do, however, feel a strong attraction to nature. After living in a city for so long, making the transition to the country lifestyle didn’t feel weird, but rather like I had found a home. My enjoyment of all things, from wine to sex became so much more heightened.

Which brings me to the only drawback that I've encountered about living in the wilderness. The one thing that I truly miss from the more urban environment is interacting with a lot of people. I need to connect with people to feel loved and alive. I do like the people I see on a daily basis here, but there are only like seven of them total… which does make things interesting. Dating Apps are kind of useless now too, both because there are only like two people within 50 miles of me and because I can’t safely meet up with anyone anyway. After poking around some, I realized that signing up here would be a pleasant endeavor.

I do love chatting about almost everything, including Howard Odum's ecological models and the environmental footprint of barely, but I am really excited to share with you what turns me on as well as find out what kinds of things we can enjoy together. I can’t wait to speak with you!
