Phone Sex

I’m Jennifer. I’m 27 and in the process of getting my master’s degree in library science.

After I graduated from college, I had a rather different career path that I was following in the corporate world. I derived zero pleasure from that. Every day I’d go into the office and just look forward to my lunch break or going home so that I could read whatever book I was reading at the time. When I realized that I was looking forward to my commute to work on the subway more than the work itself, I decided it was time for a change.

One of life’s little quirks is that it’s a lot easier to decide you don’t like something than it is to chart a new course of action going forward. After much internal debate, I just asked myself what I was most passionate about and then went forward from there.

I have always loved books. I can use a kindle or read things on my phone, but physical books are really my first love. I love the feel of the books in my hand, the smell of the paper and the way they never run out of batteries. I’m definitely more of a non-fiction girl. I enjoy fiction, but only when I have a two or three hour time period free so that I can really get into what I’m reading. Non-fiction is definitely more forgiving.

What I love about reading is the all-encompassing nature of the consumption of the words on the page. You can be transported anywhere to learn about anything involving anyone. Tom Wolfe especially is a good chronicler of time and place. When you read one of his books, you are instantly immersed in that culture. Great story telling is like that.

It took a year of schooling, but I’ve learned that there’s a reason that librarians have the reputation that they do; they have earned it. Trying to find a good party or someone to date is next to impossible in this bubble and I am starting to climb the walls because of my lack of sex. So I signed up here, intrigued at the possibility of creating amazing worlds of passion with other people, comparing hot sexual fantasies to act out and finally having many different, much needed orgasms.
