I have to say that when I call a line like this, I do not
expect a lecture on the current practices of modern
burlesque artists. The particulars of the evolution of this
art-form from a sketch show event during a 1900's vaudeville
act, through the coochie shows of the traveling
carnival circuits and the strict burlesque houses that
